wasp fusion not working correctly

Post by Invincible » Fri Oct 10, 2014 8:52 pm

context: trying to make a gamecube portable
motherboard is uncut/ powered by TI regulators
gpu is getting 1.55v

I need help with my wasp fusion. It's starting to act weird. It won't boot mario sunshine and it freezes after I pick a stage in Melee. (then gives error message)
Other games have slightly distorted text or video and freeze or stutter in game. I have no idea what it is.
I tested melee in a different GameCube and it actually worked there but sunshine still won't boot.
replaced the sd slot ribbon cable: same problem
I'm using megadrive v3

the second gamecube is completely unmodified. I used the same Wasp and megadrive so i guess it's the motherboard and not the wasp.
I think the megadrive is not getting full connection with the drive connector. or something like that
The video stuttering has stopped (probably because i adjusted the cpu voltage) all the games are still giving me the error message .
I would really like to know why sunshine doesn't work. It's not marked as incompatible
I'm switching to the unmodified gamecube which seems to like the wasp better than the first GC.
on my first post it says gpu. i meant cpu. gpu is fine
