So I got my qoob sx yesterday in the mail and had it installed in 20 mins it was very easy. Turned it on saw the qoob screen so thats good. Burned the update 1.3c disc and that went fine as well. I played about half way though resident evil remake and I have to say this chip works very well. As far as disc-based modchip's XenoGC, DuoQ this works so much better. Games that I burned almost a year ago that wasn't working on Xenogc now work so I'm glad I didn't throw them away. One problem though my AR disc is no longer working it loads but there is no text and everything is messed up. I have been reading about codes and qoob sx but all I'm getting is qoob pro stuff. I'm just having trouble understanding on how the cheats work I'm new to IPL replacements anybody have any idea's on how to get it to work?
Also I was trying to flash GCOS 1.5 to the SX but the qoob won't read it something about it can't be a .GCB file it has to be a .ELF file but I can't find a GCOS1.5.elf I did find GCOSQoobSX.GCB

The XenoGC is better to use these days compared to a Qoob SX.
That's because the original IPL text isn't there I'd say because perhaps the qoob SX never disables itself to let the original IPL read through.One problem though my AR disc is no longer working it loads but there is no text and everything is messed up.

If I run gcos from SD card after running swiss I can load AR bit it will only work with original disks no backups. If I load swiss first I could use cheats that way right?

Just burn swiss on a disk and use that (which is why the XenoGC was just as good in your situation). Swiss doesn't support cheats at the moment, but they'll be back soon.
