It's been 2,5 months since the latest nightly build and emukidid's latest source code revision. Also, Google Code is closing soon.
What are the current plans?

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Code should be moved to github or sourceforge. I'd recommend switching version control to git while you're at it (unless you have specific reasons to keep svn).
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
working on some stuff for the last month or so where if I commit it half assed it'd break swiss entirely so I'm holding off.
As for source moving, it'll go to a private repo but source changes will be in the nightly builds.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Good to know, good luck finishing that patch !
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Amongst other things that have been reworked:
(Yes, from SD Gecko, commit once I figure out some other majorly broken stuff)

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Awesome !
By the way does the SD gecko code use DMA or does it have the same issue as IDE EXI ? Or simply not implemented ?

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Doesn't crazy taxi use audio streaming for in game music like ikaruga, does it?
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Yeah, music was broken in these games. Not anymore apparently.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Very nice job emu_kidid! Does it work with wiikey fusion as well? If so, wave race blue storm here I come!

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Nice job.
Do we need to solder the WKF audio streaming fix (download/file.php?id=967) for using the audio streaming through SD on WKF?

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Thx. I don't even have a DVD drive on my GC and when audio streaming works from WKF and SD Gecko the DVD drive will become totaly useless. Is swiss v0.4 next?

Nice job on the swiss software guys. Looking forward to seeing this posted in the nightlies. Hopefully I can get my mods done that I'm working on.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
You are right mega, but I already ripped all my games and I won't use it anymore. I have 3 GCs: 1 with WKF without drive for SD games, 1 with DVD drive + xenogc + full case for audio streaming games and 1 with DVD drive + xenogc waiting for a megadrive v4 (when you accept new order I'm pretty sure one megadrive v4 will be mine).
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
This is great!. I could play nearly every game i tested using SD Gecko. The only "bug" i found is some slowdowns when the game has to load things while playing.
Are the slowdowns caused by the memory card slots? I mean... does the Memory card slot limit the read speed from the SD?
Audio streaming is nearly perfect
, just some little noises in some games.
Tested games: Micro Machines, Simpsons Hit & Run, Luigi's mansion, Pitfall the lost expedition.
Smashing drive freezed at the save data screen

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
^ Maybe a cached list can be made for small in-game files that are read often to speed things up.
Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Mills, you've misunderstood audio streaming, audio streaming implementation is not out yet.

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Very cool guys, Does this audio streaming fix also work on WKF/WASP as well? That would be greatemu_kidid wrote:Mills, you've misunderstood audio streaming, audio streaming implementation is not out yet.

That exact question was already answered on the previous page.
WODE 2.9B & SWISS r296
Hey guys,
haven't been using my GC for a while and first thought this would be a hardware issue like some soldering broke, but I tested a bit and now I think it's software related.
Nightly Build Version: I got this error on r296 and also tried r289.
Hardware: PAL GC
Hardware configuration: WODE with FW 2.9B (Boot Version 01.01; FPGA Version 02.00; HW Version 1);
Using a 64 SDXC "SAVETEC Ultra Performance, Class 10"
BBA is plugged in, but not connected
Boot method: Patched swiss_r296(pal).iso with PWCI to use it as a startup ISO for WODE
Info: The SWISS iso gets mounted in WODE and I select it to boot in the GC menu. Swiss boots to device selection. I select WODE and press "A" and receive a "Exception (DSI) occurred!" (photo attached here)
When I eject the auto-mounted SWISS iso and manually select a ISO or even the stock-WODE menu with the hardware display and buttons I can play my games.
I also tried to mount a unpatched SWISS ISO but same error.
EDIT: Tried an older version now and everything works. I'm back at r174 now

Re: Swiss Nightly Build
Hi emu_kidid. How long will you torture us, allowing us to just watch (and dream with) the videos of Swiss supporting audiostreaming from SD? LOL
We are all anxiously waiting for the Swiss r300 release.
Thank you for your hard job.
