REQUEST: Paper Mario thousand year door player modifier (with animation)

I was wondering if anyone could create an action replay code for Paper Mario ttyd that allowed you to replace mario's model, but still have walking animations.

I guess that's not quite possible because I guess the walking animations are tied to the type of character. This means that the player character
can't have the animations of a NPC. At least that's what I heard, maybe I'm wrong.
