Are there any concerns to watch out for, if you have games of different regions sharing an SDGecko?
I'd hate to lose saved data through ignorance. In case it matters, my console has both a Qoob Pro and a US/JP switch.
Multiple region games on the same SD
Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
Swiss renders the US/JP switch useless, and you can run into issues but only with memory cards. SD gecko will be fine.
Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
Okay. Then is there anything should I do, or not do, in Swiss to avoid memory card trouble?
Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
Just force the region to one or the other in swiss settings, instead of leaving it on auto.
Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
Hmm maybe we could use some kind of "current settings are incompatible with the inserted memory card, do you wish to continue?" prompt.
Of course any issues are one's own fault should one merge games of different regions into a multi-game iso.

Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
The game itself will tell you that the memory card must be formatted if it's using the wrong region.
Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
True, but that'd be a roadblock if the message is in Japanese.Streetwalker wrote:The game itself will tell you that the memory card must be formatted if it's using the wrong region.
Re: Multiple region games on the same SD
Fair point, not sure what to say as I never play jap games anyway.
