Swiss Green to Black screen when loading backups

Post by Robbom8 » Wed Nov 09, 2016 8:30 am

Having a problem with booting backups off of an SD gecko, wherein every time I try to do so I get a flash of a green screen that then turns permanently black. I have tried using two different sd cards (a 2gb fujifilm sd and a 2gb microsd in converter), booting different pal isos (the console is pal) and little things like taking out the action replay disk etc to no avail. I'm really at a loss as to what I need to do next and any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Are you using the latest releases of Swiss? I'd hate to say it but try a better SD card or SD adapter.

Yeah Im using the latest swiss. I think the speed classes of my sd cards are too low, I will try with better cards and see if that works. Thanks!

Speed class doesn't better much besides being a possible indicator of better quality cards. The way sd adapters work is whacky at most so it's hit or miss.
Also try to press x in the device selection menu and choose "compatible" speed.

So the card arrived and it works great so far as long as I boot swiss off of a 2gb card. Thanks for the help!

Have you tried compatible mode as I suggested ? And what game is it ? Some games simply do not work with swiss.
