Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
It used to on my lcd but I switched it back when I found the old crt. It crops it weirdly for some reason. It doesn't fit the same as all my other 4:3 stuff (other Wii games included). I'll see if I can take a picture later, maybe it is just mine.

Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
But Not64 is still alive I hope! Please can you at least allow to map left analog stick with the D-pad?

Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
The only issue is that can't be mapped the left analog stick with the D-pad... Original Mupen64 can do it.
Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
Addressed some issues that have been brought up.
Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
Thanks! I will give it a try.
Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
is there any comments on the new version? what should we test for?
Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
Hey, is there anyway to decrease the left-joystick sensibility? Or Increase the deadzones so the joystick doesn't move as fast?
Thanks
Thanks

Thanks for the update, Extrems.
Quick question: Do you think the Castlevania games will ever be playable at full speed?

Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
And a way to map left analog with D-pad like in the original Mupen?

Less nagging would *maybe* help your cause.Butterhands wrote:And a way to map left analog with D-pad like in the original Mupen?
Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
Extrems keep a lookout in here since i will be testing alot of games in the following days and will be updating, all games with not64 20161120 were tested with this build.

Also a technical question when a game is fullspeed on VI/S but las on the DL/s what can be done about it?

Have you even looked at the update? It's practically the only change.Butterhands wrote:And a way to map left analog with D-pad like in the original Mupen?
Something similar to CPU Clock Override in Dolphin.carnage wrote:Also a technical question when a game is fullspeed on VI/S but las on the DL/s what can be done about it?
Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
so the only change was really the dpad thing?Extrems wrote:Have you even looked at the update? It's practically the only change.Butterhands wrote:And a way to map left analog with D-pad like in the original Mupen?

Oh men i wish you could check on the 240p black and white issue over composite on crt tvs. I know you are a little busy with another projects, but it would be awesome if you manage to fix that issue.

Sorry, don't watched first post update.Extrems wrote:Have you even looked at the update? It's practically the only change.Butterhands wrote:And a way to map left analog with D-pad like in the original Mupen?
Thank you, the D-pad instead of the analog stick works very fine, there is only a problem, don't load the saved configuration at the channel boot. I have to go to the configuration menu and load configuration. Why this?
Another thing, Cruis'n World don't save. Only with the clean rom, I have the same problem with the Project 64, but I can fix it setting 16 kbit eeprom in the rom options menu. Can I now where the dol set the right 16 kbit eeprom for the clean Cruis'n World checksum? Every time I change something in the rom (I'm doing a big work of arcade restoration of this rom) the checksum change too.
Then can I know please where is the part that read the checksum or something else for set 16 kbit for the Cruis'n World savegame?

Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
So I'm trying to get Not64 to run on Dolphin because the free-look camera tool works much better on Not64 than on Wii64 and because Dolphin's netplay is less prone to desyncs than Project64 or Mupen64's netplay. I managed to get it to work by using CustomizeMii to inject the boot.dol file into a USB Loader GX wad. 8, 12, and 16 MB games work great. However if I try to run any game that's 24 MB or larger, the rom will load half-way and then Dolphin slows down to less than 1% and then the game doesn't work.
Also when I tried playing Not64 on netplay, the emulation speed dropped to 15% in the menu screen and sound didn't work even though it worked fine when we tried playing by ourselves. We tried playing on various versions of Dolphin and different settings and got the same results. Wii64 works as intended on netplay, so that's why I thought we could do Not64.

Re: Not64 Second Edition - an Hybrid Heaven emulator
Those are Dolphin issues, not Not64 issues.
