Getting the best picture quality from the gamecube

Hey Guys!
What's the best and cheapest way to get the sharpest picture quality from gamecube:
1. nintendont on the wii with wiitohdmi adapter
2. gamecube plug n play hdmi
Does forcing 480p on swiss give a sharper picture?

The Wii will be slightly cheaper but it's not the real thing. Picture quality is the same.

Yeah I've heard of the plug and fry feature
Would be interested in installing the mod but don't have any soldering skills unfortunately.

You need component/HDMI for 480p.

Wii composite is better, but Wii component is worse in 480p. They're equal using GCVideo DVI/HDMI.

Those are just component video converters, only consider using those if you only have HDMI inputs.

Yeah my bad, just re-read I thought it was composite cables that were required.
The only problem is the compoment video cables are real expensive aren't they? Has anyone reverse engineered any?
