It has been a long while since I've been here, great to see this forum still alive. If possible I would like to request a code to cut all of Link's sword damage by half, that is for both the master sword and ordon sword. There is a similar code that changes the amount of damage Link's sword does, but it changes ALL of the damage to a single flat value which even made the hardest hitting attacks as weak as the most basic attacks. Thank you in advance.

This is wonderful, I'm very grateful for your work Ralf 🙏

EDIT: The codes dont work on Dolphin but I can 100% confirm they work on real hardware.

EDIT2: I found a problem. Using the shield attack on Stalhounds (bone dogs) in the overworld causes a crash. I made sure to turn off all other codes first, I only tried the half and quarter sword damage and they both cause the crash. One always spawns at night time in the section below Kakariko Gorge.

The power code itself is not the cause of the crash, it's the stupidity of the game developers using the item struct pointer register for other things than the items under certain circumstances.

However, I've updated the sword power codes and they should be working fine now for all enemies.

That's interesting, probably the devs were taking shortcuts during the development process. Sorry I didnt want to imply your code was causing the crash, should have worded it better. Thanks for the updated code, I'll try it right away.

I want to request a code if possible. Basically the instant wolf transformation without talking to Midna first, that I think is in the HD remaster after you get the master sword. The button combination could be something like A+Z, R+Z, or A+R.

The 16:9 widescreen code has a minor issue. Link's Arm slightly Clips into the first-person Camera while Aiming the Clawshot. Its a really small issue, but I do wonder if it can be fixed at all.

Hi Ralf,

I was wondering if you might be able to create a code that disables the reflections and one to disable the underwater effects.
The built-in stereoscopic 3d in Dolphin renders these incorrectly and you get different wrong reflections in each eye.
Here's an old Dolphin forum post about it: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-z ... ns-3d-mode
Here's a reddit post talking about one way they can be fixed in the Dolphin-VR branches: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dolphin_VR/com ... &context=3
I found this Wii-PAL code that would likely remove reflections: https://forum.gamehacking.org/forum/vid ... smocortney
It would be great to have a code that works for the GCN version of the game.

Thanks!

Code: Select all

Wooden/Ordon/Master Sword: Quarter Power [Ralf]
After messing around with this for a while I noticed that the Helm Splitter hidden skill (Shield Attack then Press A) is completely unaffected by this code. Im wondering if its possible at all to make it work with this code. All other Hidden Skills are affected, seemingly except for this one.

Awesome! that fixes half the 3D issues in Twilight Princess.

Is it possible to disable the water surface reflections also?

Ralf, thank you so much for this! Your codes on this page are the only ones that I've found that work on my Wii playing the GC game. Let me ask you, do we have any codes that are able to unlock all portals in the game? I'm stuck at the part where I have to transport the cannon to Lake Hylia to go to the City in the Sky, but I'm not able to since the Warp Portal there and the one in Castle Town did not show up at all during any part of my gameplay... There's literally nothing I can do, I've tried every side quest to maybe get a trigger point for them and all the codes I've found across the internet won't work on my Wii, all they do is give me a black screen after the GC logo appears.

I know there exists a code to make Link climb extremely fast, but is there perhaps a way to edit the values of that code so that he only climbs, say, as fast as the Wii U version instead of the hyper fast speed he climbs at right now? That one change would be such a beautiful QoL thing for me and I'd love to figure out if it's doable.

Hello, I’m playing Twilight Princess right now. I came across a bug where after I get the iron boots from the mayor of Ordon village, and return to Kakariko, it doesn’t trigger the fight with King Bulbin. I use a combination of codes I’ve found in this thread as well as some codes that got downloaded to the Dolphin emulator. At first I thought it could be the code that gives you 15 of the bugs and you only have to find one. So I reloaded an older save and actually hunted down all 16 bugs, got the boots and came back to Kakariko and nothing. Still no King Bulbin. I’ve beaten the game before with codes and the only other new code that I’ve used this run is where you get all items. Unfortunately, unchecking the box doesn’t get rid of the items, so I went ahead and got the boots again, went back to Kakariko village and still nothing. Is the code where you get all items known to break the game?

Hi-- would it be possible to please get a 21:9 code including 2D elements? It's fine if the 2D elements are still 16:9 stretched if that makes things easier. Please and thank-you! ^^
