You didnt read the instructions of the translation patch. Use below wiird cheat code and it will be perfect!

just noticed that there was a v2.0.0 of the translation released recently - so for the sake of clarity - v1.0.1 requires above cheat to fix the text, the final v2.0.0 translation doesn't need it! wonderful translation by the way

Nevermind. I reached out to the guy who made the english translation and he showed me how to reverse the region back to Japanese. Turned out being only to rows that only needed to be edited in a hex software

above cheats work with the 2.0.0 translation (US)... just make sure you add these into GKQE01, same cheats as the Japanese version by the way
