Error
it simply means that the drive is having trouble identifying the content of the disk (and calibrating the laser would fix that -- turn the pot to make it work...)
Re: Get's DRE?
Disc Read Error.
Commonly noticed by users of the Cobra 0.2 Bios which had a bug in which when the disc was idle for too long it would lose focus and fail the next subsequent read. Also, it can be noticed by using cheap or scratched media or a dying laser.

Re: Get's DRE?
With a Wii it's a common problem if using a cheap media.I've had that issue with DVD+r if the book types aren't set right but with DVD-r there is no need to mess with any settings in IMGburn to make them work. If you keep getting errors try burning the game at a slower rate If you still get errors It may very well be a dying laser. For GC well Emu_Kidid already covered most all of that.

Re: Get's DRE?
Maybe I never bothered to check. I'm planning on ditching my disc drive for other options....

I saw 'Gets DRE' on Luigi's Mansion (NTSC) at the WiiKey compatibility page.
Now I know what it means!

DOL-001 with WiiKey Fusion, Viper GC Extreme, SDGecko
