Currently a WIP
list of parts:
plexiglass
IPS Weld-on 16 acrylic glue (1 pint just in case)
heatgun
dremel
primer
paint (or clear coat the primer)
sand paper 100 grit
wetsand paper 400 grit
a lot of beer
a lot of time (weeks)
instructions:
1. remove case
2. remove the lid cover
3. cut a big hole on the top of case to allow to fit full size dvd
4. make the hole bigger
5. use parts listed above to try and revive the case to a usable condition
6. good luck

Looks pretty decent man. I had considered doing something like this a long time ago, but never found the ambition.
