Hi,
Would it be feasible to add an option to force 240p video output to Swiss? By 240p I mean non-interlaced 15kHz, as was output by older consoles like the NES, Super NES, Genesis, N64, PlayStation 1 etc.
That would be particularly useful for retro game titles like Sonic Collection, Midway Arcade Treasures and SNES/NES emulators. The "visible scanlines look" is much better than the interlaced signal which those GC titles use normally, which results in graphics looking blockier than on the original (non-interlaced) console.
The user might prefer to play some normal GC games in 240p too, since there would be no interlace flicker (or alternatively, no deinterlacing artifacts when viewing on an LCD/plasma TV).
Option to force 240p video output?

This is an awful idea.mark_k wrote:The user might prefer to play some normal GC games in 240p too
Re: Option to force 240p video output?
This is something I'd be really interested in as well. GBA games via the Game Boy Player actually look amazing in 240p, but the only way to do that right now is with a "downrezzer" or converter. It would be really nice to just boot it directly into 240p and not mess with any other hardware.
Is this even possible?
