Holy crap that was so much easier than the month I spent making wasp work with an FFC adapter.

Re: mega drive v4 install.
Are you using a >64GB SDXC and that's why Swiss isn't filling out the space on the left or is it an older build where I wasn't populating it?

Re: mega drive v4 install.
can you put your SD card into slot B and read the capacity successfully??
weird why its not showing up in WKF/WASP menu..
i never noticed how perfect the WASP SD slot fits within the space of the memorycard port
...cool mod

Re: mega drive v4 install.
Okay so on the three cubes I have wasp fusion on they all read capacity from SD gecko in slot B with my sandisk 32 GB card. But dose not show from wasp SD reader.

Re: mega drive v4 install.
Not sure if this is common knowledge but it wasn't for me. I had a bad flash on one of my wasps. I was able to recover by booting from a functioning wasp with swiss change my device to read off my SD gecko. I then left the machine running and swapped wasps. Then ran the swiss flasher from the SD gecko. And no more soft bricked wasp!!!!

Re: mega drive v4 install.
hot swapping can only be done two ways:
1. unplugging the FFC and hoping not to short something out reconnecting
2. plug n play adapter ti easily pull the the wasp out, then allow a safe way to swap and reconnect while in denergized status, then plug everything back in...
another way to recover from a bad flash is WASP connected to WASP
the good wasp is first in the chain. boot into swiss with the good wasp, remove SD card and insert into second wasp.
then with SD gecko, boot swiss again and begin flashing. The 1st wasp will be in passthru, 2nd will be main receiving the update.

Can you infinitely connect wasps together for increased capacity, technically? Really just curious.megalomaniac wrote:hot swapping can only be done two ways:

Re: mega drive v4 install.
How would that increase capacity ?
To answer your question, no. First because of the maximum amount of power the GC can feed into them, and also because of current/voltage drop over long wires. Especially with those very thin conductors that are FFC cables.
