SD Boot 1.0? new features?

Is The New SD Boot (1.0) not even gonna need A SD-Gecko anymore? because if it is...... i can finally get it! ( lol i mean when it comes out )

Well "SD"-Boot means booting games from an SD card.

Yes it is going to need a SD-gecko or similar device. EMU-KIDID is a Gamecube(mainly) Dev and he is building SD-Boot for the Gamecube. And since the Gamecube has no SD card slot you will have to use a gecko.

I bought a Wiikey SD Adapter (sd gecko clone) for GC Memorycard slots but never get it to work with my GC. But I can use it with my Wii in the HBC for example... I'm not sure what the matter is...

Are you using a sdhc card? I doubt those are supported in the current SD-Boot versions(up to 0.4something). And if it's a sd card, well i think the compatiblity depends on the used software. The HBC should use a recent driver for sd cards, while the ones in SD-Boot are older ones. What i'm saying is, try another sd card.

I got some of those wiikey SD adapters off eBay for like $2 each from Hong Kong. Pretty sure they're fakes but they work with my gc and wii. Maybe yours is faulty or you're doing something wrong.

I use a wiikey sd adapter and works perfect with every kind of sd or micro sd with adapter
