My wavebird receiver often stops working in the middle of a game, and I have to unplug/replug it to have it work again. Gotta try my other set to see if it does the same. Any idea why ?
Edit : looks like both behave the same way.

Not as far as I know.
I don't think it's interference or the batteries actually since only replugging the receiver fixes it. That or power-cycling the GameCube.

Hmmm it might have been a problem with the controller board being loosely connected to the motherboard, I didn't have a long playing session since last time I opened my gamecube but I've had problems with the cable being loose while testing random stuff.
Re: Wavebird receiver acting up
Mine plays up too sometimes. I have to replug the receiver back into the controller port on the wii when it happens. It never stops mid-game, only when I start up the Wii and HBC. This WB was bought second hand and not in the best condition.
My other new wavebird never had this problem

Yeah I randomly have the issue on power up and mid game some times as well which can be pretty annoying.
Re: Wavebird receiver acting up
Since it happens on a wii too I think you can rule out a loose controller board. I've even had it happen on Wii U via the controller adapter for smash brothers.

Oh ok well, I better get regular controllers I guess.
