Controller Ports

Hey guys, does anyone know if I could solder the controller ports directly to the GameCube main board without first going through the controller board? I've directly wired one controller straight to the main board, not using the controller board, but would this be possible with all four? I've already desoldered all of the ports from the controller board and would like to solder directly from the 6 pins of each port to the main board. If so can anyone help me going about doing this? Thanks!

I'm trying to do this also but can't find any tutorials or anything. I am currently using this photo and doing my own tracing to try and figure it out myself. I've seen people do it before though.

It possible just requires some thought. Look in the hardware/modding section for board trimming. You will find all the pinouts you need all the way back to the gpu. You still might want reset and you going to have to solder the bios battery to the motherboard as well
