Wasp Fusion freezing

Post by ZEN_KYLE » Fri Oct 16, 2015 5:50 pm

Hello I'm new here and currently working on a GCP. I first started with the Minimalist Cut. wired up controller, Wasp fusion, mem card, Monitor, and all that jazz. everything was working like a charm. I then decided that the minimalist cut was too large so I cut down to the Medium cut. I wired everything back up to the corresponding connections except for the memory card, but now when i try to test the GameCube it gets stuck after initiating Wasp fusion. it shows two messages then freezes. Can any one help me figure out whats going on?? any help is much appreciated!

everything worked the first time you wired it up....
then you removed everything, trimmed the mainboard, wired everything back up and now it doesnt work?

seems like the problem can be anything at this point

Yea that's pretty much it.. After the trim everything else is working correctly. The wasp fusion blinks on start up so I know it's getting power. It even recognizes the roms on the sd card. The only thing I haven't wired up yet is the mem card but that shouldn't affect the operation of the wasp right?? I'm gonna try wiring the mem card soon as I get a new soldering tip. I'll keep you guys posted.

try updating to latest swiss which should enable a "reset" for wasp to force you back to the device menu rather than getting stuck on init

I'll give that a shot. I can just put the latest version on the sd card and boot the cube? I was under the impression that the wasps shipped from badass consoles were with the latest software? Thanks for the quick response I'm kinda freaking out with the wasps being so hard to come by.
