I've been trying to load PS1 games on my cube using CubeSX (which seems to actually work according to a video I saw on Youtube of Crash Bandicoot 3), but when I try to load it through Swiss, it freezes at 90%. This is that it says:

Not sure why. And I'm pretty sure that 709 isn't 90 percent of 16277. The disc also stops spinning. I tried leaving it for a while to see what happens (and by that I mean I loaded it up, went to a movie for 3 hours, then came home) and it was still at 90% and the disc was completely still. I was, however, able to successfully load a Nintendo 64 emulator and Super Mario 64, which ran no problem. This is what I did to make the DOL file bootable:

All I'm trying to do is play the official Dance Dance Revolution PSX games since the Mario version for GC kinda sucks. It's not too complex graphics-wise, so it should run fairly smoothly.

I should also mention that I'm loading everything from DVDs and not from an SD adapter (since I'd have to wait over 30 days for one to arrive if I order one). So if anyone has any solutions that work using just DVDs, I'd love to hear them!

EDIT: Same happens with Genesis Plus GX.
EDIT 2: Tried Swiss 0.3 instead of 0.4, and it shows a really colorful garbled screen, then does nothing.

Where are you getting your DOL files from, they sound like they're compressed with dollz using the stop motor option, this isn't how authors usually release them. Also, where are you getting Swiss from? Make sure you use the latest from viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1375

I'm using the Swiss 0.4 release as a bootable ISO burned to a DVD. And I'm getting the DOL files from the original sources that the developers provided, usually on this site itself. I think the method I'm using actually compresses them using dollz, and when running that batch file I do see an option that has to do with the motor. Should I try a different method? I was doing it this way since it's the easiest way to boot a DOL file from DVD using Swiss (since it doesn't recognize plain DVDs that aren't bootable.) I got CubeSX from the Google Code page (https://code.google.com/archive/p/pcsxgc/downloads)

Edit: the output actually says [VIPER OFF] [MOTOR ON], so I don't think it disables the motor. It did also compress it.

EDIT 2: GOT IT RUNNING! Had to use an uncompressed DOL instead of compressing it. Only problem is that when I'm playing Dance Dance Revolution (the game I was trying to get running) there's a steadily increasing offset between the sound and arrows. By the time the round ends, the music has already stopped over 15 seconds ago while the arrows are still being hit.

Compatibility isn't perfect, you'll have to live with it.
