Difference between the AR versions?

What is the difference between all the different versions of Action Replay for the Gamecube?

Action Replay 1.08
Action Replay 1.09
Action Replay 1.14a
Action Replay 1.14b
Action Replay 1.4c
Action Replay Max

I think that there were also versions:
1.06
1.07

But I can't find any information about them.

Action Replay MAX could load codes from SDGecko I think? Also, the later versions stopped allowing the SDLoad cheat.

There's 1.06 and 1.07.

I assume they got lazy and released the newer versions as a method of getting newer cheats to users.
