Retroarch 1.7.3 - stella_libretro_ngc.dol - how does it works ?

I have a gamecube with Xeno chip.
I downloaded the Retroarch 1.7.3 and i extracted the retroarch directory to my sd card 16gb fat32.
I saved Atari roms in my sd card.

In game cube, i use swiss 0.4 disc...
I start swiss and run "stella_libretro_ngc.dol" and it works.
But stella cant read my sdcard files, my sdcard roms, it dont detect my sdcard memory slot

anyone can help me?
