Add DVD drive activity LED??

Anyone know if it is possible to add a DVD drive activity led to the game cube??

I have been searching for Schematics.. but nothing has come up yet.

I'm guessing there is an activity line to drive a transistor then to a led? Bi colour were the power led is?

Anyone done it? (Or thought about it?)

Thanks!! Thats a good start.... I wish i could find Schmatics for the GC.. or atleast the DVD drive and interface... I thought where the mod chip attaches.. one of those pins might have been it....

LOL. No resistor? Might be a good idea depending on what color LED you use. Some have different voltage ratings.

Good point I didn't know it was only 3 volts I was thinking 5 volts

If you are New To electronics, i would suggest you to buy an Arduino Starter kit or a clone like the Elegoo Starter kit. These have great examples and pictures to make you understand electronics Vetter.
